Long Lake Central School is a K-12 school which is held by a great education system provided by caring, motivated teachers. The school is situated in the hamlet of Long Lake, New York, the geographic center of the Adirondack Park. The students receive a virtual private school experience in a public school setting. Class sizes are small, affording ample tutoring and guidance; nobody "falls through the cracks." Despite its small size, the school has an excellent academic reputation, sending its graduates to some of the finest colleges in the United States. The school also offers a variety of extra-curricular musical, dramatic and athletic opportunities.

The Long Lake Central School District belongs to the Franklin-Essex-Hamilton Board of Cooperative Education which provides vocational, special education, speech therapy and other support services.

SCHOOL SONG

Overlooked by towering mountains
Stands our Long Lake High
Looking upward like a fountain
Shout her name on high.

Dear old school, we'll love thee ever
Loud your praises sing;
Through the vale and o'er the mountain
Let the echoes ring.
